We are supported by our partner universities, SSHRC/CIHR, and Statistics Canada to facilitate access to data for crucial social research while protecting the confidentiality and security of Canadians’ information.

RDCs located throughout the country mean researchers are not obliged to travel to Ottawa to access Statistics Canada data.

Access to the UBC-RDC is free for UBC students working on theses or other degree requirements, and for UBC employees performing academic research.
